Has no condensate drain, so it fill up with water and then becomes very noisy as the fan splashes in the water. Also condenses moisture on the top of the housing near where the cold air comes out, so there's the potential to get your window sill wet. And if you ever lose the remote, you won't be able to control it because there are almost no controls on the unit itself. The side curtains are not long enough to block a normal sized window so you have to stretch them out and they keep springing back and will probably split soon. We have many window air conditioners. The others drain, stay dry, run quietly. This one needs diapers and a pacifier.
