Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Haier HLP21E 6.6-Pound Pulsator Wash with Stainless Steel Tub

Customer Review: Great Washer!
Summary: 4 Stars

This washer really does the job and it's a money saver over time when you think about all the quarters you end up having to dump down laundromats etc. The only issue is that you really have to watch it, don't overfill it, and make sure the sink it's draining to is unclogged (I've had a couple nasty overflows.) Otherwise great product, fast shipping, no complaints.

Customer Review: Great convienence

Got this a couple of days ago and I couldn't be happier. Its quite and does a great job. It will only do small loads, so don't think your putting 5 pairs of jeans in. Make sure you install the bottom plate correctly otherwise it will sound like a jackhammer. The plate should stick out, not go into the bottom. Also if you need to move it, i recommend buying the rolling art from Lowe's for 25 bucks

Customer Review: Great for new parents
Summary: 5 Stars

We got this machine right after our daughter was born and have been using it almost everyday since then. It fits plenty of baby items or two large towels at once. We do about three loads at a time. The clothes are done in about 30 minutes. They don't come out dripping and most of them get dry overnight.
The machine is small enough that fit it into a corner in the bathroom. We recommend it for small places. We've been using and abusing it for a while without any problems.

Customer Review: Great little machine

After reading many reveiews on this product I decided to go ahead and purchase it. I hate the public laundry so I thought this would be a little bit better even if I had some of the problems other people had mentioned. I had the same problems with the screws that every one else did. The screws dont match up to the holes to screw on the bottom panel. You have to kind of force them in where they dont belong and then screw them on. I also have to weigh down the water out house into the sink or it will flip out of the sink from the water pressure and end up all over the floor. I thought it would be sufficent enough to just place it in the sink, however I learned my lesson after the first load! You can fit quite a bit in it despite the small size, however I would not try to overload the washer as the water level will get too high and overflow. I am able to wash with the water level on high as long as the washer is not too stuffed up. Overall if you can iron out the little kinks with the washer, it is much better than public laundry and will save you a lot of money over the long run. As opposed to the rolling thing for the bottom I got those furniture sliders and they work GREAT to move it from one side of the kitchen to the next.

Customer Review: Great little washer

I'm very happy with this washer. I live in an apartment & laundromat is a few blocks away. I bought it because I have a newborn & she goes through a lot of clothes, bibs, burp cloths & stuff. I basically have only used it for baby things (I have washed a few items of mine tho). The wash cycle is very weak in the way it moves but it must be cleaning because (white) clothes will go in with formula stains & comes out clean (and that's without bleach). The spin cycle works great too. Because I'm so happy with it I ordered the Haier dryer too.
