I have had good purchases and bad purchases from amazon, from receiving orders on time to not receiving them at all or receiving the wrong items. This machine is the absolute BEST purchase I have ever made. I researched this for days, read all the reviews and decided to make the purchase. I received it in a timely fashion and it was in perfect condition. Putting it together was a breeze. You screw on the bottom plate, level the wheels, hook up the water hose and put the drain hose in the sink. The manual is thick and I was worried about missing something, but it literally was that simple. I love that the faucet attachment that comes with it can stay on when you are done. I did some dishes after doing a couple loads of laundry and the sink worked fine. I hooked up the washer again after the dishes.
I did my first load this morning and watched it like a hawk, waiting for leaks or something major to go wrong. It worked perfectly. I did my first two loads on the normal water level and normal wash cycle. I find that you can fill up the drum loosely with clothes and start it. After the water has soaked the top of the clothes, I add a few more pieces of clothing. As long as you don't get too greedy, the washer will work fine. I decided that for me, I like to see the water fill up almost the whole drum (it feels like the clothes are being throughly washed with this much water), so I now use the high button for the water level. The medium water level works too, but only fills up the drum a little over half way with water. I use the normal wash cycle for every load, except towels, which go on heavy cycle. This only takes a little longer to wash.
As for the noise that some people didn't like, I find no issue with. All machines make noise, this one makes noise as the drum moves and when water is drained. Honestly, my room fan makes more noise. I actually like to hear some noise, that way I know it is working.
The machine is bigger than I thought it would be, but nonetheless, it is amazing. It is so much better than having to lug all my clothes to a laundromat and spend a fortune to wash and dry everything. I bought a dry rack and a standing tripod for clothes that go on a hanger, both from amazon as well, and now doing laundry is so easy. I have a small apartment so everything is perfect for me. This really is a great product. I am up to five loads today (yes I fall behind, another reason to have one here instead of driving somewhere) and still, no complaints.
