I received this box a couple weeks before x-mas as a present for someone who enjoys wine. So far I've had nothing but problems with it and it still won't work. I'm assuming I received a lemon, or this would receive one star. If I can get it to work in the next day or so I won't return it - I really don't want to have to return an 80lbs fridge, especially since I had to cut up the box to remove it (since you can't tip it on its' side and I was doing this all alone).
First of all - just a small issue - the little plastic lever that hits the light switch to turn the light off was snapped in half. Some Gorilla glue fixed that and it's no longer an issue, but it looks stupid.
Second - There was a good 1/4 inch gap between the door gasket and the fridge. This is on the hinge side. I have tried to adjust it, but there's still probably 1/16 inches between the gasket and the door on the very bottom. As small as the gap is, this is no good. A fridge of this type needs a tight seal. I may caulk it, but I don't want this fridge to look like junk, and I really don't like needing to rig a brand new device just so that it will work.
Currently it holds a temperature of about 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Nice, huh? Much too hot for any type of wine. The instruction manual is of no help. I have cleaned it thoroughly per the instruction manual. I'm very disappointed with this fridge. I feel I'm being generous with my rating.

Well after looking and looking at all the different brands of wine coolers I decided on Haier. This 24 bottle wince cooler is the perfect size for the average wine drinker. It looks great in your kitchen and dosn't take up a lot of room and holds 24 bottles. The digital temp controls are very accurate and easy to use. I even store my cigars on the top shelf to keep them from drying out. Best of all every once in a while amazon.com will put this one on sale.Customer Review: This was a gift

this is the worse cooler I have seen it was rusty and a large door gap letting in air.
