I ordered the Haier XQJ50-31 Agitator 1-2/3-Cubic-Foot Portable Washer from Amazon last week. I didn't need a portable machine, just a compact washer with reasonable capacity and good performance.
The machine was delivered on Tuesday (when Amazon said it would be) by regular UPS. The cardboard packaging was in good shape and the washer itself looked very good (2 very small dings on the front). The user manual also seemed pretty well written but included the information that the maximum height for the drain hose was 40 inches. My drain is 44 inches above the floor...kind of a bad news/good news surprise. Most of my installation time was spent on building a special platform, but the result was a nice, flat, level support for the permanent installation of the washing machine. I needed to buy a new drain hose to reach the drain and bought a screw type hose clamp to secure it. The hot and cold water supply hoses hooked up without any problems.
So far, so good on the performance: I've done one medium, warm/cold load and one large hot/cold load. The controls were easy to use, there were no vibration on leaking problems, and the clothes came out clean.
I'm a happy customer: Haier, Amazon, and UPS all did their jobs. My only glitch was caused by my peculiar laundry closet setup and, for now, everything's good.

We got our washer today with the bottom corner drop damaged. However, it took about five minutes to bend it back in shape. Other than that, no dents or dings as have been reported by others.
We assembled it after work with no problems and we're on our second load. So far, so good. I think we're going to like it a lot.

This machine has been a definite improvement to my life as I hate the laundrymat. It arrived promptly with the Amazon free shipping, no damage of any kind. It was fairly easy to set up and the controls are intuitive.
It does a good job on laundry, but you have to be careful not to overfill it with laundry.
My only concern is about long term durability. It's made mostly of plastic, in China, and very thin metal. Also, I anticipate finding someone to service it, and parts, will be a problem should the need arise.
Very good machine, I'm glad I bought it.

First I want to agree that this is a great little machine that is working out well for me in my tiny little house. I have no garage or basement or laundry room so that leaves the kitchen where the previous owner had one of those stackable units set up. I love this washer and recommend it highly.
It was delivered directly to my door, which is good because I don't own a truck. When I unpacked the washer a couple of pieces fell out the bottom and when I turned it up I found it had been damaged (probably in transport) and could not be easily fixed by me. I first called Haier to see what, if anything I could do and they told me they would be glad to send a repairman, but that I should call Amazon first. Customer service at Haier was very friendly and helpful and the best thing was that I talked to a person right away and was not put on hold or given someone who doesn't speak english.
I then called Amazon customer service and found them to be just as friendly and helpful. They immediately replaced the damaged washer, picking up the damaged one at the same time the new one was delivered.
This has been the best experience with any customer service I've ever come in contact with.
Thank you so much, Amazon. I've been a loyal customer for many years and will continue for years to come.

This Wasshing Machine is Great. It was delivered is a timely manner, they brought it up to the 3rd floor for me. I opened it and it was slightly damaged. I called and they took care of it for me. This is a Great machine it is VERY Quite and runs great, many different options. I love it. It is great for an apartment. I would highly recommend this machine..
