(September 2006) I have been using this washing machine for nine months. Assembly involves installing the bottom plate and also putting on the wheels. These tasks were not very difficult for me but may be if you are not used to using tools to put things together. I am very happy with this washing machine. The wheels make it very portable and it is not too heavy to move around. I am a single person and do a load of wash every day. My clothes and linens come out very clean and the electronic controls are easy to use. I have only needed to go to the laudndromat to wash pillows and 2 very large bedspreads. Otherwise this machine has handled all of my laundry well. I read that one reviewer had a problem with the drain hose falling to the floor and causing a flood. I can see how that can happen if you are not careful.
ADDENDUM: 06/28/08: This washer is still going strong and has been trouble free. I have used it for 1 to 2 loads a day with great results and no trouble or repairs needed.
UPDATE: 08/22/09: Still going strong after almost four years of daily use. No repairs. No problems at all.

I bought this because I live in an apartment with no laundry hook-ups.
I received my washing machine the first week o/September. I was soooo excited, but it didn't work from day one. I kept getting an error message and after having hooked up all the extras was super disappointed.
I called the company and soon they arranged to have someone come out to fix it. In less than 30 minutes after guy came I was washing my first load of clothes. I love it! It works great and will save me lots of money.
The down sides were that the panel that comes with it to put on the bottom did not fit securely and has a gap on one side. I think this is because the frame is a little bent. This does not affect the performance or the noise (it is very quiet. You also have to make sure you hook the hoses up with the red end going to the machine otherwise they leak. I have no idea why.
For the price I had no problem paying a couple of bucks for a y adaptor. After shopping around I think this is a great machine at a great price.

This machine has been mana from heaven. My girlfriend and I live in a NY apt. building with no laundry facilities and taking the laundry to the nearest place to wash was to say the least a pain (about 10 blocks or 1/2 mile away). Since we've gotten this we've done many many loads of alundry in our kitchen....it's easy to hook up, quiet (can't hear it most of the time) and has made our lives better. We've had no problems whatsoever with the machine...no leaks, no unbalancing, nothing. We're careful not to overload it and we clean the dual-lint traps every time we do a load to prevent any issues. We use a couple of folding clothes drying racks to dry the laundry (can get 2-3 loads on our two racks).
The only issue we had was removing the rubber feet and replacing them with the included casters...those rubber feet were near impossible to take off. It took a while....like when you have to change a tire and the lug nuts were put on by a air gun and you only have your hands to remove them. However, we got the casters on and they've been great...it's easy to roll to and from the sink. Honestly, I don't know how we lived without it!

After living in a condo with the wash room down the hall it is a joy to be able to wash in my own home and have the softener dispencer right in the machine so I don't have to keep going to the wash room trying to time the rinse cycle for the softener.I don't have to get dressed or comb my hair now to do the washing.Easy to move to the sink, gets clothes clean, several cycles and options.
