This machine was a little difficult to assemble exactly according to directions, but we were able to get it together and working well in a couple of hours. There seems to be a slight leak in back because we haven't been able to properly level our unit. Still, it works very well, runs quietly, arrived quickly (without any big dents!), and was less expensive than simpler models sold in local stores. I absolutely love this portable washer. Having rented another brand for a couple of years, I was thrilled after finally putting it together [not easy for a 59 y/o disabled woman, but I did it] and doing my first wash. The first thing I noticed was how much larger the load was, almost the size of a regular washer. Next was the quiet operation. I have a very small apartment and hook the machine up to my kitchen faucet, so my previous noisy machine was quite annoying, especially during the spin cycle. I can't even hear the spin cycle on my Haier unless I'm standing right next to it. Now I can wash clothes anytime I want without worrying about disturbing my neighbors.
I've had it for about a year now and I'm still very satisfied. It cleans well and spins very dry. I also like the efficient, double lint-removal system.
I would like to add that there were no dings when it was delivered, as other people have mentioned. I agree that the manual was a little hard to follow. I was only able to remove the two rear feet and install casters, but I think that does help stabilize it during washing.

Just got my machine today. No problem with the hook up. Went to start first load and keep getting a E2 message (washer door not closed properly). It's closed and for the life of me I don't know how else to close it. Can anyone help me??? Laundry in and nothing will work.Customer Review: Highly recommended

If you live in an apartment, then this washer would save you money and time. It's very convenient and very quiet. I put it in my kitchen. Everytime I need to use it, I easily hook it up to the sink faucet. It works great. I use it for almost everything. In the begining, I had some trouble getting it to work then I figured out that I need a Y-adapter (which I got for Home Depot) in order to hook up both hoses to a single faucet.
